Karen's Craft Odyssey

Betsy finished her exams for the semester — I still have some marking to do, but I think Frank is mostly done. We decided to celebrate the end of the semester by driving up to Bribie Island for the day.  The weather was great, most of the day.  Started out sunny:

After knitting so many things in 4-ply (or thinner) yarn, it’s great to do quick projects in thicker yarns. I’ve recently finished a beanie and fingerless mitts for Frank:

And now I’m working on some fingerless gloves — started on Saturday and I’m almost finished with glove #1 (no pictures yet).
