Here’s a picture of the Primula Coffee Cloth, all blocked and ready to go.
It’s now sitting on a decorator table in my bedroom.Â I did a rather uneven job of blocking — if I block it again I’ll draw out a circle to make sure it comes out round.
Those of you at Spinners may have seen the little felted ballerina I made:
I’ve sent it off now.Â I hope the three year old recipient likes her.Â The doll is knitted, felted, then stuffed with wool.Â Her features and hair have been needlefelted on.Â Her head and body is just a straight tube.Â I needlefelted it a bit around the neck for some shaping.
I can’t stop myself from starting new projects. I wanted to knit a baby cardigan and decided to use patonyle — mainly because I have tons of it and can dye it the colors I want.Â I had two skeins I had dyed in the ball a while back:
Not enough for the project I wanted to do, so I grabbed some more patonyle from the stash and dyed it Tasman Blue:
I dyed six skeins blue.Â That ought to give me enough for a striped top and solid pants to match.Â I started the top:
